Old Bikes in the Barn.
I have some old bikes that have been in the barn for too long. I used to know what they were, but have forgotten a bit. One is a 1942 victory bike. theres a couple ladies fat tire bikes from the 40's I believe, JC Higgins, and a Hudson (made for Hudson Dept stores by Colombia?) and a CCM bike from Canada?, and a 1924 (I think) Schwinn 24 inch wheels. I also have a Original GT Backwoods mountain bike. It is all chrome, with all Suntour components.
If anyone can help me understand what I have, or their value, I'd appreciate it. Is the a serial number database somewhere? I think I should sell them, and make some space.

You should post over on the CABE forum, they specialize in old american cruisers.
They look cool, and in pretty good shape. Value? no clue.

Try googling "Schwinn serial numbers" or "Columbia serial numbers" (the victory is a Columbia, right?)
I actually have a thing for victory bikes, though I might be the only one. As rare as they are, they don't attract a lot of attention and good luck finding tires.
Here's mine. I started a thread on it a few months ago.

And here's a good story about a couple of ladies who rode their Victories across the country in '44;
