Ergo bars and Cinelli 1R stems

I have a beautiful Pinarello panto Cinelli 1R stem that has some Cinelli Crit bars. I want to keep the stem for my Rello but I find the bars very uncomfortable and want to find some ergo bars to fit the Cinelli stem. Any. Ideas out there?

Guy

I'd fashion some sort of shim and use a nice bar with a 26.0mm clamp. I just installed the Soma Hwy One bars on my Paramount. I don't have a more recent pic yet, but take my word that they fit well with the 11 speed Ergos. They have a super short reach of 75mm.

I don't think a shim is possible with the design of a Cinelli 1R. At least it doesn't seem safe. Remember the width of the entrance where the bar goes in does not change on a 1R.

This is what you want, you just don't want to pay this price:

Hilary Stone has some Eubois, but I can't tell if they're the ergo model...only 11 quid:

I had a 3TTT Forma that I ran in a Cinelli stem, with shims, and it worked fine.
As for the 1R, well, I don't know. I suppose you'd need to shim on the opposite side of the wedgie.

I have several sets of Cinelli Eubios bars on the shelf.

I may have 26.0 and 26.4.

Let me know your clamp size and I'll check for you.

ps Colonel Lloyd, I really like the direction your build is going, but I digress.
