Looks good to me. What's wrong with the handlebars?

sloar 03-16-12 12:17 PM

I wanna stick some cinelli bars on it

rootboy 03-16-12 12:39 PM

Beautimous

eippo1 03-16-12 12:48 PM

Nice, that certainly works.

Orrery 03-16-12 12:59 PM

Ecrevisse 03-16-12 01:09 PM

I like that saddle.

gomango 03-16-12 01:13 PM

Well done.

Saddle looks good to me.

Bianchigirll 03-16-12 01:14 PM

I agree beautiful and very classy. what is wrong with the skewers?

sloar 03-16-12 01:18 PM

They are not campy

ColonelJLloyd 03-17-12 09:44 AM

Very nice! How about a full shot?

Looks like your front brake pads are in backwards.

Six jours 03-17-12 09:57 AM

Also, you've accidentally installed clinchers and clipless.

WOW good eyes that could have made for a exciting first ride.

What kind of hubs and what size rear? I'll look around

sloar 03-17-12 10:33 AM

Campy record hubs 126 rear. I will check that front brake, thanks

Stinkin' purists... I'd have been rockin' an IGH on that puppy, which would have really had these forums in an uproar! :D

sloar, that IS a beautiful bike atmo!

Chombi 03-17-12 11:46 AM

Looks Fantastic! The Regal saddle looks really classy on the bike. Sort of the aesthetic flourish that you'll expect on an Italian race bike of that vintage.Bars have that nice, agressive "Gimondi" bent to it and looks to be holding it's own on the bike. What brand is it?

Chombi

I'd have kept my mouth shut, but worrying about the wrong brand of skewers when you've got a big ugly pair of clipless pedals tightened into Super Record cranks is just too much. He could at least go with these.

I've got a beautiful set of Record/Mavic GP4 tubs ready to ship.

Clean some glue, mount the new tubs. Ride into the sunset with a big grin. :)

The Colonel has good eyes, and Six Jours good taste I'd say.

But is a bicycle ever really finished?

Sloar I have various Campy pedal sets on the shelf.

Let me know down the road if you need something.

Six jours, good point! BTW, I have nothing against purists, but I'm largely a pragmatist which often puts me at odds with a purist mindset.

buldogge 03-17-12 01:19 PM

I say ride the clipless...at least you'll be riding! Hell...I run SPD on ALL my bikes (except my winter beater with beartraps and powerstraps)...

Saddle looks fine, brown suede or black Regal would have probably looked "better".

My 2c.

kiwigem 03-17-12 02:57 PM

I like how the saddle ties in with the gum hoods and walls- very sharp! I have more Cinelli bars than I know what to do with. What's on there now?

sloar 03-17-12 03:27 PM

The bars on there are specialize bars. The pedals are
On ther because I like having one pair of shoes that are compatible with all my road bikes. I know they don't look right on there but I love
Riding clip less pedals. And don't want different shoes
