installing brake cables

trying to install brake cables and I lost it and need to get a new one

Bikes: one of each

That's called a ferrule. What's the diameter of the hole and does it need to be black?

its 8cm and no it doesn't need to be black

I think one came with the brake cable but it isn't big enough

Sports authority and walmart sell a Bike cable kit that includes two of these. 5$ for a pack with housing and cables etc
