Centurion question
Hi all, I have an '86 Lemans RS, and would like to put wider tires than the 25mm currently on it. What is the widest that will fit given stock components? My thought is this would be a touring/Katy Trail/trainer bike. It carried me through several seasons of triathlons "some" years back, so has a lot of sentimental value, as well as being a pretty darned good ride.

I have an '87 Centurion Accordo RS I picked up about a week ago, I tried using some older 28's I had here and although the side fit was fine, the height was not...they hit the rear brake bridge, front was fine though...so I'm getting a set of 23's in the morning. Is the Lemans more of a touring frame? mine has fender mounts, but the tolerance's are insanely tight.

Take a good look and it should be obvious whether you have a few mils to spare between the seat and chainstays and most critically, the brake bridge. WYSIWYG
