Are you asking about tubular tires?? Cause nobody really sees the inner tube anyway......
Schwalbe Milanos look great for 80's "period" builds!
Vittoria Rallies look good too, and are cheap!, but QC is not as good as the Milanos.

Channeling my inner Allen Iverson:

"We're here, you are supposed to be building a bike, and we're here talking about tubes. I mean, listen, we're talking about tubes, not wheels, not tires, not pedals, we talking about tubes. Not a saddle. Not, not ... Not the frame, but we're talking about tubes, man. I mean, how silly is that? ..."

If price is no object, FMB. Wonderful tires. I'm told you can, at extra cost, have them made without their branding on them.

Edit: I'm assuming the OP intends to ride his bike. I don't trust old rubber.

Then you shouldn't go to the bars that KonAaron Snake frequents.

I personally like 2A3s, 300Bs are good too.
As for who makes the best? well I"m partial to Western Electric 300bs
but they're about $1k a pair. Valve Art and Sovtek are pretty good
for about 1/4 the price.

Oh, you don't mean....
nevermind.

Some of the New Sensor/Electro-Harmonix offerings look pretty close, but it's almost a given that they won't perform like the best of the old ones.
