So I bought a Del Rey...
Can anyone help me out with any info they have about these?
So far I know it's:
Fuji VaLite tubing, green
Ukai gold rims
Suntour arx drive train
Nitto handlebars and stem
Dia compe side-pull (???) brakes
That's about it. And if I described anything wrong, forgive me, I'm a total newb at this
Anywhoo, pics below. And if anyone can figure out the year (I'm thinking mid-80's) or any other info let me know. I bought it for myself as a speedy commuter and so far I really like it.

Pics didnt post up. Can you try again? There was an early '80s Del Rey for sale in CL last summer that was tempting me at the asking price of 125.00.
They are a quality bike though pretty much low to mid-level of the Fuji line....but still a very sharp looking bike.
Nice find!

Nice score! You cannot go wrong with a lovely Fuji. One of my very first bikes was a Fuji Gran Tourer. I used it as a racing bike, I did not know any better! I currently have three. A team from 1983, and two Finests from 1972. One is a small frame that I'm planning to build for my daughter, and the other one is for me. I do not know much about the Del Rey, but like I said, if it is a Fuji it is guranteed quality. Congratulations on your nice find! Enjoy!

So far I love the bike. It rides really nicely around my city streets. It's nice but didn't cost so much that I'm afraid to commute to campus on it, you know?

I really like this bike great find I really like the ARX drivetrain. The AR DT powershifters often go for $50+ on E-bay plus just for the shifters. I have brought whole bikes for just a couple really nice AR or ARX components.

Your bike looks to be in really good shape. I have a 1973 Road Racer and the thing rides sweet. I also bought an old Fuji Palisade for my brother and the bike was nice. Those old Valite Fuji's are really nice bikes. Ride it, enjoy it and take good care of it. After removing a frozen/rusted-in seatpost on a bike... make sure you grease your seatpost
