I kinda sucks cause I can't bug you guys with my rolleyes and big grin emoticons anymore....I also noticed that since yesterday, that when I submit my posts they all get scrunched up and all paragraph spaces are eliminated, making it difficult sometimes to understand the posted message or replies.. I can correct it by editing the original posts, but it's really a hassle.
What's going on with BF?? Is there a setting that I might have bumped that is causing these?

This is a test...

The automatic click-the-icon-to-insert doesn't work but you can still enter them manually if you remember the sequence. I'm going click Submit Reply in a moment to see if they stick, but they show up properly in Preview Post.

The change is being made to help prevent global warming. It has been determined by scientific study that laughing expends energy that causes green house gases and leads to warming.

The issue I have been getting is the deletion of spaces and paragraph start points.I have to go back and add a whole bunch of spaces and skipped lines or it just gets put down as if it were almost a run-on sentence, the entire post, that is.
EDIT: Note above, it just happened again. Spaces and even paragraph breaks simply disappear.
Odd that the problem doesn't occur when adding text using the EDIT function. Weird.
And if that's not weird enough, it now takes several, slow BACK commands just to get back to the Vintage section. Truly awful site performance, started a couple of days ago.

Yes, I too have noticed all these problems. Site works better on my iphone than computer. I am used to typing html tags but the toolbar is entirely missing.
Also when you click 'back' out of a thread sometimes it takes you to a non-updated version of the c&v homepage, hours (or days?) old. Hopefully they're just working out some kinks on the back end.
Edit: I'm on safari on a Mac.

Things wen't wonky last night sometime and the main discussion listings didn't look right. However, things work fine for the most part today. What browser is everyone using? I'm on Chrome for Mac.

Some of us might have gotten an automatic system update somewhere in our OS or IP programs that's screwing up the BF posting interface for us.......Maybe we need a geek to find it and issue a patch in BF?? Or BF needs to apply a patch to itself??
