Old Schwinn Collegiate
Volunteered at the end of the year bike donation drive at the local college, they take in the bikes that the kids don't want to drag home. One donation was a late '60's (possibly early 70's) Schwinn Collegiate with perfect "shorty" chrome fenders and not too much wear on the rest of the bike. The white leather springer seat with big buttons was perfect. It had the SA 3 speed, of course. It will be cleaned up and adjusted and offered for sale soon by the local non-profit - cheap. It was the "girls" style or step through version in blue. If there is interest, I will go make some pic's of it but it is probably not too rare, and certainly not as rare as some bikes posted here, but a nice old bike in good condition nonetheless.
