Happy Birthday Blue Paramount!

I picked up this nice opaque blue Paramount track bike a few months ago, I rode it a bit but didn't pay it too much mind until a week or so ago, I was looking over it and checked out the serial number and it read a build date of June '72, I thought on this for a moment and realized that would make it 40 years old this month ( this month being June at the time obviously). Well that settled what my next project would be, a full strip, polish, and rebuild. It all went very smoothly and it's just a little bit prouder now. I'd still like to get a nice track bar at some point.

And here is a friend of mine with his first time riding a fixed gear after I finished, haha big smile!! : D

Beautiful bike, I'd polish it with a good wax, maintain it and ride the dickens out of it.

next year then... give it the same treatment for its 40th, right down to the month, it feels very appropriate
