Van Tuyl?
Does anyone know about this frame maker? I'm eyeing this bad boy: https://www.ebay.com/itm/120944919830 . Does anyone know which group that is? Looks c-record to me, also in excellent shape. I really want something Italian but this caught my eye... Any opinions?

That is a very colorful bike, I like it.
The group is 1st generation Athena (except for the Record hubs).
Van Tuyl is a Dutch bikeshop, I am not sure if they build the frames or sourced them from somewhere else. The bikeshop still exists.
The webiste is https://www.vantuyl.nl Website is in Dutch

I like the bike as well, very clean and tight.
According to this site the frame making of van Tuyl during the end of the eighties/beginning of the nineties was done by Andrea Pesenti so it could be an Italian frame after all

Gijs van Tuyl also build frames himself in his shop in Zaltbommel apparently.

Thanks for the info. Is the first generation Athena group good stuff? It's probably priced a little too high then? I'm going to put an offer in, I'm pretty smitten with it. There is a Pesenti Designs sticker on it so it much be Italian, especially with the cinelli BB...

I think that $1800 is to much for that bike.
