Campagnolo Hub ID
Like to many things in my life Campagnolo baffles me. I see similar hubs listed on Ebay as Super Record and Nuovo Record. From what I've read, Super Record hubs are somewhere between rare and a fairytale. What do I have here, and is there a way to date them.
Thanks.

Thanks.

There's all kinds of talk about Super Record hubs, but I've never so much as seen a picture of a set. They supposedly have titanium axles. I believe there may have been some prototype modeks made but no production versions. There really aren't Nuovo Record hubs either, just Record.
What you have are Record hubs. Flat lever would indicate pre-CPSC (~1977). The cone/nut hardware holding things together will have a date stamp 99% of the time, I have several with no date though.

Do you know what year did they start stamping the pitch on the hub? - I have a '74 (locknut ID) Italian-threaded set with no stamping but would really like to know when stamping was introduced.
