Come on RaceCat, show a picture of your bike and redeem yourself. Most of us here don't have rare expensive bikes either.

I'm puzzled. I'd like to respond, but I'm a little unclear exactly what the OP is asking. ITT? Or ITM? I've got an ITT stem and bars, which are pretty sharp, but I'm not familiar with ITT.

Puntcuation helps. So does spleling. Now, what's this about handlebars?

I think it's funny that David and Robbie, who have to be a couple of the mildest tempered guys on this forum, managed to tick the guy off bad enough that he picked up his marbles and went home. I'm kinda tempted to hunt down his other 29 posts.

I had thirty plus students in my class last year that were truly exceptional.

I am very proud of them.

Believe me, pot shots against the system will not make it better.

Take some of that negative energy and turn it into some volunteer hours in an elementary school near you.

Fwiw The op may may not have been a native English speaker.

Let's give folks a chance you guys.

Let's slow down here for a moment.

Folks here will help, but restate in the positive.

Give yourself a chance to handle this with class.

Translation:
I traded an old frame I had for a set of ITT aluminum bars. The bars are very lightweight. I believe the bars are from the 1970s. Are they highly regarded? Do you know if they are valuable?. Will they work on my Schwinn?

My computer is old and not working very well.

I'm not certain why you gentlemen are giving me so much grief? Please accept my apologies for not owning a rare vintage bicycle. But even an inexpensive bike like mine has some value. Now I'm very upset and I'm considering leaving Bike Forums.

I am bored by you having fun at my expense. You seem to be insensitive to the challenges I face with this malfunctioning computer. All I want to do is mount my ITT Italian handlebars on my Schwinn. In the meantime I've gone to Sears and had a refreshing cup of tea. It was supposed to be calming. But instead I come back to all this bantering on and on. The Queen would never approve.

lets end this thread, good night,..be safe...
(No translation needed)

The above service is brought to by 30+ years of local church ministry of listening and making sense out of the nonsensical, i.e. every person has a story to tell.

Let's hope Racecat comes back in a better mood, with a better sense of humor, and is able to straighten out his computer challenges.

I'll go along with that, mostly. But I am not familiar with ITT handlebars. Possibly they are either 3TTT or ITM?

Pastorbob, Wow! If you get tired of working the pulpit, I am sure they could use you up at the UN. Nice job helping racecat to get his point across.

Racecat, all we need now it to know which Schwinn model you have and the size diameter if the handle bars.

Pastorbob, President Bush could've used your services. Though I fear what he actually meant when he spoke was probably worse than what we thought he meant.
