Help me name the frame (Bianchi?)
Hi, my first post.
I've recently picked up this frame and before I restore I'd like to know what it is/was. I'd be grateful if anyone recognises it, or could point me in the right direction to learn more.
There are few markings on the frame itself: it has 'Bianchi' stamped in each of the rear dropouts, and the serial number '554676' is stamped on the headtube.
Some measurements are:
Bottom bracket - 70mm x 36mm
Seat tube diameter - 1 inch
Head tube diameter - 30mm
Some other observations:
The derailleur levers on the down tube did not have any braised-on fittings (it was a ring-type),
The bike has a 'Reynolds 753' sticker on the (repainted) seat tube,
All the joins are lugged.
Any help would be welcomed, thanks!
