Bummer!
I knew it was going to happen sooner or later I just wish it would have been later. I went for a nice 25 miler earlier today on my newly acquired De Rosa.
Anyhow I get home and start wiping the bike down to get the road grime off. I turn around while walking over to my work bench to see my Pogliaghi track bike falling over, yep it hits the De Rosa's top tube and leaves a nice tiny little dent and chips off some of the paint on the De Rosa. No sign of any damage to the Pogliaghi at all but now whenever I ride the De Rosa I'm going to see that nice little dent and paint chip that could have been prevented. :( |
Don't worry, it just adds "character" to the bike..........my dad would have said...
Maybe your Pogliaghi was just jealous of your new "mistress"?? Chombi |
I say retire the Pogliaghi since it was clearly the inferior bike ;)
|
^ Yeah, I mean really, it only has one gear and only one brake. :)
|
They conspired. It's anarchy!
|
Bummer is right. That's hard. I won't try to console you. Just to say, I feel for ya.
|
Hmm. Well, I never, ever, wipe off road grime; and this has never happened to me. Do the math!
