Bummer!

I knew it was going to happen sooner or later I just wish it would have been later. I went for a nice 25 miler earlier today on my newly acquired De Rosa.

Anyhow I get home and start wiping the bike down to get the road grime off. I turn around while walking over to my work bench to see my Pogliaghi track bike falling over, yep it hits the De Rosa's top tube and leaves a nice tiny little dent and chips off some of the paint on the De Rosa. No sign of any damage to the Pogliaghi at all but now whenever I ride the De Rosa I'm going to see that nice little dent and paint chip that could have been prevented.

Bikes: 1986 Alan Record Carbonio, 1985 Vitus Plus Carbone 7, 1984 Peugeot PSV, 1972 Line Seeker, 1986(est.) Medici Aerodynamic (Project), 1985(est.) Peugeot PY10FC

Don't worry, it just adds "character" to the bike..........my dad would have said...
Maybe your Pogliaghi was just jealous of your new "mistress"??

Bikes: 1951 Armand Carlsen, 1969 DBS Deluxe, 1949 Diamant, 1978 DBS Winner Tandem, 1955 Herkules... to infinity and beyond!

I say retire the Pogliaghi since it was clearly the inferior bike

Bummer is right. That's hard. I won't try to console you. Just to say, I feel for ya.

My wife calls one of my bikes my "mistress" or "other woman."
