So I just got ahold of a Sturmey-Archer AW hub in flawless condition. The problem being that it's drilled for 40 holes and I can't find rims to match! Does anyone have recommendations for 27 x 1 1/4 or 700c rims that can handle that many spokes?

A while back I picked up a couple of 27 in. 40 hole Sun CR-18 from Ben's Cycle.
They might have some floating around still.

Alloy 700c 40 hole rims are available new. I don't recall now where I got mine or the brand, but I found it by searching the web.

Velocity makes 40h rims in their Fusion and DeepVee models. They're sold through many LBS.

If all else fails, it is pretty easy to lace a 32H rim to a 40H hub. Don't try it with a 36H rim; that won't work nearly as well.
