75 Le tour

what other headset can I use in place of the original on my o.e.m. 75 le tour? I was involved in an auto vs. Bike and my forks/headset are tweaked and finding another 75 le tour for parts doesn't seem like the best route. If I can upgrade, now is the time. Also i need a new crank as mine is bent. Thanks everyone for your consideration.

any 1" JIS threaded headset should work for you.the tange levin is a good choice good quality and low price.Pictures of crankset would also help.

Actually I think the '70s Panasonic made Le Tour is a combination of 1" ISO and JIS. The crown race ID is 26.4mm and the frame cup OD is 30.0mm, which means if you had nothing to start with then you'll need to buy both a 1" ISO and a 1" JIS headset and combine the parts to make one that works.

If your replacement fork includes a crown race (ISO) pre-installed, then you can just get a JIS headset and you'll have all the parts you need.
