Found a RIH Sport bike in a shed recently, so am curious to find out what year it is from. And if it is an "original" RIH, a Fongers one or a Cové ...

I guess a early RIH-Cové, maybe even 1973, the first year of the collaboration with Cové.

I've just uploaded an album of my rather battered, but much-loved 1977 Bustraan.
I bought it 3 years ago for <£10 on Uk eBay and It’s been used as a town bike & winter trainer and now I’m turning it into a fixed gear audax bike for 200, 300, & 400km events.
I'm considering repainting some of the more rusty bits - does anyone have any ideas on paint matching for the classic 70's Rih Blue?

Yep, I see. But I did not see a number on the lower head lug, as is usual with RIH/Fongers. And the 181 under the bracket ...

I have a 1962 RIH Supercourse sport racing bike I want to sell, but it needs new tyres before I advertise it, I know next to nothing about bicycles!
So can someone please tell me the tyre and inner tube sizes I need to order for it please?

Welcome, mandomicky ! That is a nice machine. With the extra set of eyelets in the front and the braze-ons for a rear rack, it seems to have been built for touring, rather than racing.

It does seem to have a shorter wheelbase than my '65 Super. Perhaps they were later additions?

The wheels are almost certainly 700C. Check the rims and what's left of those tires. I would expect to find some markings indicating their size.

Definitely a touring frame
 

Well that is a lovely bike, a picture of the frame number on the ballhead would be great. Looking at the seat tube angle, I guess it to be 70 or 71 degrees. Standard for racing bikes is 73 degrees. Like Non-Fixie said, it's a touring or sports bike. The chain stays are long enough to give you room for fenders. And the front fork has quite the rake. Probably to give it a longer wheelbase for a smoother, more relaxed ride. If you add a few more posts, you can add some pictures of the drive train and some close ups of the frame.

Hello,

I was just cleaning out my dads shed and there was a RIH bike made in Amsterdam. I put it on marketplace for 50 euro and got instantly 10 replys form people wanting to buy it witch made me suspicious.

It has frame number 83 122 and it says Model Campognoloy Bustraan Amsterdam. I cant find this model number on your sheet...

Can anyone tell me about the year it was made and some kind of value

Welcome, RobSIH !

€50 isn't much money for any bike in decent condition. Certainly not for a RIH. I suspect it is the 122nd bike built in 1983. I also suspect it came from the Amsterdam shop. Where is the serial number located on the frame? Do you perhaps have pictures you can share?

As for value, if it is in good condition and still has the original Campagnolo parts it will be closer to €500 than to €50.
