This is the top of the line model. Earlier versions wer built with Falck but by the tail end of the boom they had switched to Reynolds. The model name used in the early 1960s was Roma Olympiade but by the end of the boom it was the Professional. I don't know exactly when the switchs took place.

I think those might be early for that red Legnano: those are 60s, red bike is 70s.

I just want to see the Supercorsa. I finally got one, so I am satiated, but I still like to look. Kind of like young women.

Way way back, one the first pro bikes I keenly looked at was a Turquoise Legnano, a bit earlier with the stenciled down tube graphics. Geometry looks very similar. I did not buy that bike, the shop owner ignored me, even when I had cash in my pocket. (lesson, not all kids cannot save money) If it is adjusted for you, the set up looks very "pro". Bike I would think would ride with lots of stability.

Thanks for sharing that. Very pretty! I have a red one as well - a cheap one, with Falck tubing - but it will never be as nice as yours.

Fender bolt. The rear brakes are long reach to clear a fender and still be able to remove the wheel. The front brakes are short reach.

No, It's a bit too small for me so I haven't done anything with it yet. I have the frame up in the trades section and hope someone has a larger one to trade. I have all the parts in one box, ready to go.

I think my next project will be the Battaglin or the old Raleigh Pro. Both need paint which will be new to me.

Always love seeing the blue ones. I've had mine since new in '64. Great bike. Runs like a locomotive on the flats. I raced mine back in the day, and 20 years ago hung the tubulars on the wall and put on some clinchers. Somewhere along the way, the rear Legnano branded Campy hub got switched for a "normal" high flange Campy. A few years ago, I changed out the beautiful Ambrosio stem for a Nitto, to get a little more (less?) vertical reach, and more horizontal reach. I'm not 16 any more. Back in the day there was more bike and less me. Other way round now. I also switched out the original 53/45 crank for a 52/42. Not a big change, but with a 28t 6 speed on the back, a little more hill friendly. The Eroica picture is from 2016.
