Silver might be a bit better, but I like black wheels if other components are black.

Silver, and turn the brifters down, the skyward tilt looks as goofy as the previous owner's ridiculously long rando stem.

My preference is black or dark grey so it was difficult for me to suggest silver. I'm having the same rim color decision with the SR500 build and will probably mock it up with one dark grey and one silver from the other bikes and post it for help as I really have no style taste. :(
