Cool drillium site.
Check out this web site where OTIS shows his stuff. Some very tasty drillium here.

Nice, but it's kinda overwhelming when you see so much drillium in one page.
Frankly, I'd like to see more milling than just drilling round holes.....although both takes tremendous talent to do correctly and beautifully.

Well, I have to admit, I'm a bit ambivalent on Drillium. Some I like, some I don't. But I admire Jon's work. I did a couple of chain rings with an old hand drill on the floor of my garage back in the mid 70's, which I still have, but I'd like to try my hand at another ring. I'm thinking of something besides round holes though.

Love the work on the site.
Incredible attention to detail.
I would consider Drillium Dude as well, but I think he will be a little busy at his new location.
I'll have a bicycle, maybe by spring, that will be just right for some drillium.
Keep up the great work!

I'd like to get something like that done on a custom build-- not that fancy, but nothing too subtle, either-- with similar work on the seat cluster, head lugs and stem.
I think the link between double guns and lugged steel bicycles is stronger than many would think. Both are handmade, both functional, both elegant and I think that everyone here would agree that the really good stuff has a personality all its own.

I hear tell the D. Dude is taking his Dremel with him to while away those long, lonely island nights.

That's the coolest website, isn't it? I like the minimalist presentation - and of course the products represented. Much better work than my Dremel hack-jobs
Scott's right: I am taking some Campagnolo stock and my Dremel with me to Diego Garcia. Don't know how much I'll get done (I'll be riding my ass off because of the great weather), but I'm taking it with regardless.

Spices up a "special" ride and in my case, puts a beloved bicycle back on the road.
DD took his considerable talents to these Ergos and the result is simply fantastic.
Using the Colnago this morning on our "Saturday breakfast" ride.

@ DD I finally matched the light purple/lavender on the frame with some Testors for the grooves on the Ergo levers. I'll paint them some Saturday in the dead of winter here when I am caught up with some other "projects" on bicycles.

Imagine riding that bike on a stretch of pave.....
At least he held off drilling the uber rare Assos pedals on the bike......for now...

I guess I'm right in the middle of this mess, without even trying. Or actually drilling anything.
I'm referring to the TA cranks (chainrings mostly, I guess), on my Bertin.
It's kinda cool, but I'd be pretty concerned with how all that drilling affects the strength of parts. (?)
