1" fork replacment

I have a 1980's schwinn sprint i ride as my daily fixed gear and i recently managed to bend my fork in an incident that wasent my fault but that is another story . I am looking for an inexpensive replacement fork , i am running 27" tires on my bike and i would like to keep the 27's

Thank you

Chicken

Somafab has some nice ones on their website. Anything any good is going to set you back between a hundred and a buck-fiddy, though.

Sadly that is almost what i have invested into the bike, i have considere the nashbar carbon fork as it seems to have fairly good reviews from what i have seen , or maybe looking around here for a vintage 1" fork that would fit my bike.

How long do you need the steerer to be? I'm assuming threaded headset?

It is threaded, the old fork measured in with about a 180mm steerer
