Excellent! Has anyone bought one yet and given it a try? I could use a handful. Up to now, I have been scavenging them from a donor frame, rendering the Cannondale donor useless...
Now I can PC a Cannondale for a family build.
Just placed an order for a handful.

Not exactly full production yet. Here's the response to my order:
"We're taking one final look to ensure it can withstand the 3D printing magic; given the nature of converting digital files into physical products, every now and then we catch designs that will be too fragile to create in certain materials. After we get the green light, we'll start creating your order in our factory of the future.
Once our robots have finished creating your order, you will receive an email from UPS, which will include the tracking information of your package.
Included in this order are the following products........"

Glad that someone went to the trouble to try and make these.
Hope they turn out to be durable and attractive...although I have to say that the finish on the one in the photo looks a little like volcanic rock.

My Cannondale Cable Guides arrived!
While I was away for a few days my Shapeways 3D Printed guides were left at the house. I ordered 4 just to be on the safe side for my 1988 T400.

As you can see they are not smooth. I wonder if it can be sanded and painted? I might try.
The first picture was taken without the flash while the second one was. I'm concerned the hole for the cable housing is too small, but I'm at the church and can't check. Also the mounting nubs look to be on the large size.
Has anyone else received their order yet?

I bookmarked that link as I am running out of the stock guides and was wondering about the finish myself, maybe use some epoxy body filler then smooth it out & paint them to match or black.

My "set" arrived, and inside the box was a cheap iphone case, even though the packing slip said it was Cannondale cable guides........

While it took awhile for the guides to be "printed" and shipped, I have to say they kept me informed via email the whole time.
I forgot to bring them home last night to see how they fit in the frame and if they are sized correctly for the cable housing.
Hopefully I'll remember this evening.

I'm on the road right now, so no checking the box.
besides the iPhone case, the box included a miniature branding iron, all of about 1/2 inch long. You can't make this stuff up!!

Brought mine home yesterday.
A brake cable housing does fit, but there is resistance. It does not slip easily through the holes, but it does move. The mounting nubs are on the large size, and don't slip in, but the material seems soft enough that they will not break when inserted. The directions say to glue by applying to the frame holes and then turning the frame over to keep the glue on the nub inside the frame. Not easy but I'd say this is necessary.
