Guerciotti Restore

Bought this one on Ebay and it was not quite in the condition I thought it was. It just happened to find my nephew so I built it for him. In turn on got my GT Edge back from him.

All vintage 105 with 600 cranks. NR small flange hubs. Nice bike. Should ride nice.

I guess some of the files were too big. I hate that. wimpy picture size limits..

Your nephew is lucky to have you for an uncle. It would be a tough choice for me between the Edge and the Guerciotti, but in the end would have done what he did.

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

I agree on both counts! I think it looks pretty good even if it is a bit mix n match. Lots of guys rode bikes like that back in the '80s until everyone got "complete groupitis". Some of the best and fastest guys I knew back then rode mix n match bikes.

It looks nice and clean

The reason for the mix is budget concerns. Plus he wanted index shifting. I wanted the Edge because of condition. Plus, Im a tiny bit spoiled. I want some Italian bling other than my basso, It will probably be a colnago. saving up now.
