I've been using that B&M and I don't find it looks that out of place on my bike. It's a pretty decent light.

I like the Classic, but it just doesn't put out the light that the better systems do. If only there were a way to run a magicshine off of a dynamo....

Lets light this thread up!
Today was out shopping for kitchen appliances and supplies but something made me backtrack to an antique mall. Found a bunch of old bike lamps and flashlights. Some were early and beyond my sense but I did score a few battery types. The bike lamp is a USA brand Elite but made in Hong Kong British Crown Colony...lol. NOS but scuzzy from sitting. The instructions are a hoot. Also acquired some D cell battery flashlights that will mount to bikes. One is a copper plate Rayovac bullet and the other some USA made from the 1920's. The Hong KOng will go with my Raleigh DL1. Might attempt an LED conversion. http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment...8&d=1423359334 http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment...9&d=1423359336 |

Part of the batch of lamps acquired. Pics are before I cleaned them. All are in great condition. Might go back and take a closer look at the small oil lamps the seller has. Thinking of mounting these with plumbers copper strapping, knurled nut, screw. Retrofit LED's.
