Question on recovering a saddle..

Just bought a flite ti that needed a recovering, did a search online and read/ watched how to do it then grabbed the seat to start. Well problem is the foam came off the base and is now attached to the removed leather. Is there any way to get it free from the leather without ruining the foam or is it time to toss it chalk it up as a learning expense and just order a new one and deal with black?

No. Get some more foam , and use with the new leather. You might try some thin, high density foam or gel type stuff. I would if I were trying this.

I had an unfortunate run in with a parking garage, and my flite took the brunt of it. The LBS said that the Selle italia's distributor in the US can do everything from recovering to re-installing the plastic seat bed on the rails. It might be worth giving them a call and see if it makes sense economically.
