Bikes: I don't even

Is it wrong...

...that I sometimes use the appraisal forum as motivation to go out and buy a bicycle?

I've been buying bikes for a little while now, and I usually have a general idea of what a good deal is within my price point (0-$300), but sometimes it is really nice to have the reassurance that I need to go buy a bicycle. I wouldn't consider myself a flipper as I haven't gotten to the point where I'll buy bikes that aren't my size, but I do like to know that if I don't love the bike that I buy that I can get my money back out of it and maybe then some. Posts like:

I'd be on that bike like white on rice for $xxx
ypu should have gone last night. for $xxx if you can ride it in the driveway pay first then ask.
No brainer at $xxx, should be gone already.
$xxx? I would be all over that, I really like those frames.
+1 on 0brainer @ $xxx.

Hope it's in your garage
are great motivation to go out and buy a bike regardless of whether or not I need it or not even though it will definitely get ridden at some point.

So is that wrong of me to use you guys for that extra little push?

Your forgot "I'd be on that like trailertrash on Velveeta"

You wouldn't be flipper if you had held on to that fabulous black Giro. I guess we have to start calling you Mr Kane.
