Huge haul!

Third call from my "bicycles wanted!" flyer got me my best haul! Get this, the lady calls me and tells me her dad passed away and she needs his bikes gone, I go over to have a look and find this along with 2 other rooms just like it! She told me she'd pay me $200.00 for each room I clean out before 11PM today! Ive got 6 guys and two U Hauls working non stop since 9 this AM! This is the first room we knocked out! Working on room number 3! Yahoooooo!

Hey ILB - Don't waste your time posting for these silly doubting Thomas's until after 11PM, when you and your pals have every room cleared out!

That one near the front is a particularly rare model. It looks like it's got regular yellow bar tape but if it's an original you'll realise the bars are made of solid gold. It does make the bike heavy but putting it over the front wheel improves handling significantly.

I smelled a rat when you said you got six other guys to work for you.

There cannot be six guys in the known universe who would work for you.

It would not be a problem finding 6 guys who would work for a slice of that pie!

We'll be looking for a full inventory after 11, ILB.

In the same spirit, from Orange County Craigslist:

[h=2]BIKE FOR SALE - $11 (USA)[/h] BIKE FOR SALE
  • Location: USA
  • it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

I hope it's a joke.

Eleven bucks??....I wonder why it's such a weird amount... why not a nice round number like twelve or maybe just bump it up to a good fifteen??......It's a joke for sure, unless the seller him/herself is looneytoons....

If it were real I would give the 6 guys $100.00 each out of the $600.00 the lady was paying, PLUS another $100.00 each from my own pocket. they would be happy to help me move the bikes.
Anyways......gotcha!
