Western auto bike called "endurance"

My father in law has a western auto bike from the 40's. He says there is a tag on the bike that says Endurance. Anyone have info on this bike? I cannot locate anything. Thanks in advance. Dave

Nice! Full name of the bike would probably be a Western Flyer Endurance Flyer. Sold through Western Auto stores, Western Flyers were often made by either Huffy/Huffman or Murray. The folks over at The CABE: https://thecabe.com/vbulletin/forum.php are probably more experienced with this type of bike. I think you're about right with your 1940s age guess. As for parts, really doesn't look like it needs much. Maybe missing a chain? It'll use any standard single speed chain, available at any bike shop on the planet. Service all the bearings, throw it back together, and ride it!
