Bikes: blue ones.

Rosebud

Saw another specimen of my first "full sized wheeled" bike behind a shop window the other day. Rosebud. Gazelle "Piet Pelle" named after the cartoon character Gazelle used in their adds. Maybe a bit early to be sentimental at my age but hey, it struck a chord. Figured I'd share it with y'all.

I like that fancy hood ornament. Nostalgia for one's first bike is allowed at any age.

I always liked their logo.

Wow. Very nice for one's first proper bike.

I could be nostalgic for that bike, and it's the first time I've seen one like it!

:-)

yup, carbon copy of my bike, right down to the color of the rubber bands on the rear rack. Could've fooled me, except that my specimen met an unfortunate demise when I ran it at full speed against a tree.
