Help ID this frame?

Hi all! just wondering if any of you has any clue on this old frame I found.
It doesn't have any decals and the only numbers written on it are under the bottom bracket (I6C 555)?? the three 5 are very clear but not so the first 3 digits.
I was told it was from Italy but I'm not so shure about it.
the size of the frame (BT) is 57cm

I know it might be a piece of garbage, so any clues would be fine.

Thanks!

No clue on the frame maker, but the forks look bent to right.

It might have been made in Italy but with the stamped rear drop outs it is not an very good/expensive frame. Roger
