Raleigh Sport Drum Brake Dilemma

Raleigh Sport Drum Brake Dilemma
I have a 70s Raleigh Sport with a 90mm o.l.d. dimension front fork. I want to convert to drum brakes. All the Sturmey Archer drum brakes are 100mm o.l.d.
Did SA ever make a 90mm o.l.d front drum brake? Is there a Raleigh front fork from another model with 100mm o.l.d that will work?
Thanks

You "might" be able to thin the drum brake down by removing a spacer (I would have to go look) Yes they did make drum brakes back in the day, they look just like a dyno hub except they have the arm on them, same housing. You can spread the forks to make the 100mm hub fit, you will most likely have to file the drop outs for the new axle to fit too.

Correct- the hub you're looking for is the Sturmey Archer BF ("Brake Front") model.

You can rig them either for cables or rods.
