nope. a good friend of mine did. he's a leather artisan.
this was kinda prototype. he also restore/reconditioned a '60's Agda saddle for me.
the only prob with the hoods is that it's bonded to the lever. a true one-off.
in discussion with him on detachable/resuable hoods for the next projects, in fact.
will be adding more custom leather stuff in collaboration w him going forward—only where appropriate.

1950s Bianchi Sport bike. Basically a city bike with 3 speeds and condorino bars. Makes a Varsity feel like a lightweight.

yup. he glued it on using some kind of high-end glue.

The Superbe Pro was the best friction mountain bike derailleur I ever used. I used 24 X 34 X 48 chain wheels and 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 21, 26 strong gears for the North Shore but it worked perfectly.

yes, his work is awesome. I follow him on facebook just to have a steady stream of pretty pictures between all the nonsensical posts. Luckily he's buddies with an amazing photographer that really brings his creations to light.

I dabble with metal. Curtis is an artist with it.

I understand Curtis is thinking about making a stopwatch holder; looks like it will be a resin/composite and metal design. I'm signing up if he puts it into production.
