Just a place to put random project pics, if you want. Maybe there is already a thread for this, maybe not.

I've got:

a late 60's PX-10 to build up that was recently painted.

to finish sanding, painting the box for my Cetma cargo.

Build the Disc Trucker I recently purchased.

Build the Voodoo Wazoo Cross bike I recently purchased.

It doesn't help that i'm going on vacation away from home for the next month. Also, most of my time is spent riding, not wrenching, hence the backup.

What have you got going on?

Bikes: 87 Bridgestone 550 (Shocking Electric Metallic Pink)

Might want to round off the top corners of that cargo box...looks like it might be painful to run one's head or knee into!

Such is the life when one lives where year-round riding is easily available. I'm awaiting my wife's return from the US, next week, and then I'll complete the 105 package on my '92 Paramount, and begin the conversion of the '78 Schwinn World into my all-around bike. Thus freeing up the city bike for the wife's all arounder, should she so chose.

I've had my hands full lately. Currently in the queue, in order of expected completion:

'74 Nishiki Competition (decals & paint fresh paint just applied, needs a finish sanding to clear, lug lining, then ready to build)

Early 70s Cilo Pacer (just finished wheels, few parts need some attention, then time to build - almost there)

'73 Ron Kit/Speedwell Ti (frame is out for repair)

'83 Trek 520 (as found, in need of full overhaul)

'72 Peugeot PX10 (obviously needs a lot of work, probably save this for a winter project)

Gotta decide how to build up this '84 Trek 610. Gravel grinder? Yeah, I think so... now to find some gravel around here..

Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

I don't have as many projects as thrifty bill but he may be in a league of his own when it comes to bike projects. This was a good summer. I built (or rebuilt) 8 (!) bikes this summer. I still have two builds for this year. I think I have sourced all the parts for rebuilding my 1970s/80s era Melton bike. I'm looking forward to this project. There is something really cool in working on an old school bike with old school parts. I'm leaving a few jobs for next summer! I'm keeping my eyes open on my local CL for a few more project bikes; they'll turn up sooner or later.

I've grown weary of having so many projects around. I resolved earlier this year to reduce my fleet from 10 to 5 or 6. I'm very excited about the Serotta Fierte Ti (off topic) that I'll build up this week.

I've been procuring parts for a new, although very classic build. A Pedimoto 650b. It's being painted now.

Colonel, your Pedimoto is sweet. Cool welds, and lots of versatility in terms of mounting brackets. The internal routing, and the bi-plane fork crowns they use are really nice, too. Looking forward to seeing it all dressed up.

If this is the frame I think it is......I'm glad it ended up in good hands. Can't wait to see it built up!

Almost done with my Torpado project, just need tires, do some remounting on the fenders to fit them better and cut the rattling (I Know...NEVER get done with that!). Trying to decide if I want to add more weight and a generator set!

Just finishing up a Giant Kronos for a friend that has been sitting for about 20 years...needed a little TLC!

Have this Trek 400t beastie that needs work....Might finish it and get it to my son out in Texas....as he is NOT on campus any more and the bike MIGHT survive more than a few months!

This Sekine is actually MY size, so, build it up for myself? Perhaps as a SS bash around town bike? It is only Tange5, so not great, but decent enough

Bikes: Schwinn, Bottecchia, Miyata, projects

My filthy Bottecchia has been coming very slowly because I'm Bringing lots of work home these days.

I'm a little nervous about the rear Chorus brake. The locknut is extremely nasty and the caliper doesn't return when clamped by hand.

Can't really expect too much for $150, though, I guess. I know it won't be pretty, but the ride will be great.

I have only one project of my own, a very slow process.

I have two for a friend of mine, and they're the priority right now.

Pictures when I get a chance....

Other project: re-connect with Armani576 over a beer or seven.

Thirdgenbird and Gomango strike again.

Winter project ahoy!

I pick it up at 9 am sharp tomorrow morning.

This one is Belgian, but I am certain there will be a fair mix of Italian goodness included......

I have exactly ZERO projects (discluding some maintenance on my Reus and mounting some tubulars on a "new" set of wheels coming this week).

If I can sell the Pinarello and/or the 1st gen Chorus gruppo, I will start my search for a Kirk Terraplane or finally dive into my S3/MAX frame build...

Hey there- I'm restoring my Nishiki Professional. Did you paint this yourself, or have it professionally done?

Bikes: Looking for a Baylis or Wizard in 59-62cm range

Great thread, I will be following this one closely. I'm trying my best to downsize some of my classics, however currently building up this early Serotta.

Bikes: 1986 Alan Record Carbonio, 1985 Vitus Plus Carbone 7, 1984 Peugeot PSV, 1972 Line Seeker, 1986(est.) Medici Aerodynamic (Project), 1985(est.) Peugeot PY10FC

Projects come up nicely for enough me as long as I wait patiently for them .....it's the money involved that's the problem......at least for me, it is in the past year because of a job slowdown. But recently, things have been picking up at work, so I was able to get my latest project started.
Just got an "eBay buying ban" from the "financial manger" recently. It must be that short buying spree I did for my new project. Just too much too soon, I guess.... I thought I was slick to let one more buy squeeze through right before the ban, but karma dealt me a big blow when the brake cable set came in and they were tinted pink! Too much in a rush, should have asked the seller if it was clear.....
