Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

Some better pics of the details would help. Often frames/bikes like this didn't really have model names since there were available as frame/fork with/without a 'kit' of some kind.

Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

I kinda like the pic of the bike at a rally or is it a street party? We should have a thread for bikes at street parties. In any case, I thought cinelli and faggin were different manufacturers. I only see faggin stickers on this bike.

They are. This must have a Cinelli BB shell.

bikemig this was at a Jazz festival and there were too many people around, i had to place it safe and see it all the way.

Under the frame where the serial nr is displayed, Faggin by Cinelli. I will upload pictures later, i need to go to the garage.

See you...

Sometimes you just need to go to the source.

I had almost the same frame but mine had horizontal drop-outs and the chrome was not in the best shape. I had the fork redone and I would ask if you in victoria, BC, but the drop-outs look vertical so I know it can't be the same bike. I don't recall there being any "by cinelli" bit on mine but I recall it was columbus SPX.

I doubt that if Cinelli had anything to do with the Faggin frame-building concern (besides selling them a BB shell) they would have used Gipiemme dropouts.
Pity that there aren't any Faggin catalog scans in the usual places (Velobase or Bulgier) but the one thing we can say is that Gipiemme had those vertical dropouts available as early as '82, since they do show up in the GPM catalog that year.

Bikes: Faggin SL Compact 82 ; Incomplete Cinelli Mod B 50's

So i checked their website and seems like an older Faggin SL Compact, because the tubing of mine is SL Columbus and has the same curve on the seat tube to allow the wheel to be as close to the frame as it can be. I'm curios about the year of the frame - if "Gipiemme had those vertical dropouts available as early as '82" like GPM catalog says.

I attached another photo (low quality i didn't had time to go to the garage and i asked my maiden to do some pics sorry about it but now you can see the FAGGIN - CINELLI MADE IN ITALY)

It's just a Cinelli BB shell, the interesting thing is that Faggin apparently got Cinelli to add their (FAGGIN) name to the casting mold, so this was a semi-custom shell made just for them. I can't tell if it's a unique model, it looks a bit like a cross between a "Spoiler" and a SCM or CCM shell.
I suggest you get better pics and contact the nice girls at the Faggin factory in Italy (see post #6 ), maybe they can ID it positively and tell you the exact year.
