Ever seen this before on Cinelli bars??

I got these at Bikeology in La in about 1972. The Cinelli logo is stamped twice. Just kinda wondering if that was very common.

Thanks,

Steve

Probably not common at all. All the 70's Cinelli stuff I've seen has been very consistent.
There's a couple guys on ebay who would try to flog that for big bucks.

Bikes: 1986 Alan Record Carbonio, 1985 Vitus Plus Carbone 7, 1984 Peugeot PSV, 1972 Line Seeker, 1986(est.) Medici Aerodynamic (Project), 1985(est.) Peugeot PY10FC

It's rare for sure, but more value??
Well, it's not like a stamp, coin or bill that demanded a lot more QC from the maker. most likely just a manufacturing flub that the line worker said "Mehhhh....." to on his way out the door at the end of the work day to start the weekend....

i have that knight emblem on my cinelli bars, original to the '73 falcon sr that i inherited.

don't know that i've seen a better looking logo. maybe one embedded in one of those old pre-60s steel chainrings.
