It may not be "classic" but I'm pretty sure it's vintage.

This is probably old news but I hadn't seen it before.... I know nothing about this but it appears to be late 70's and not home made. Practicality rating = ZERO, weirdness rating = HIGH.
I want one just for the novelty of it, I'm sure the groundskeeper on the Island of Misfit Toys has a couple of them.

The steep head tube angle suggests a twitchy, though fast ride. Any reports as to if it is laterally stiff and vertically compliant?

What a cool idea! I am almost obsessed with finding one that could work.

In addition to bicycles I have an obsession with old garden tractors too, this would bridge the gap between my Wheel Horses and Schwinns rather nicely. However, in all my years digging through piles of old junk I have never come across one of these. I suspect if they were marketed in the US it was a very limited market area.

With 3.8" gearing, I don't think that's much of a concern.
There's a magazine review buried in here- https://classiccycleus.com/home/mower/
100RPM at the pedals ends up around ONE mile per hour.

In my 30+ years fixing lawn mowers all I have ever seen is pictures of this, I can't see it working too well as blade speed would be a problem but it sure would be a work out.

I mow my yard with a 1970 Wheel Horse Commander V8, I "repowered" it about 4 years ago with a Tecumseh OHV-120. I plow snow with a very beat up but all original 1975 B-100 and a 42" blade. I was going to restore the B-100 but it has such "character" I hated to disturb the patina....... I also have snowblowers for both tractors but neither one has hydraulic lift and there just isn't enough leverage for this old guy to wrestle those monsters up and down anymore. I also have a 1948 David-Bradley my Dad bought brand new awaiting restoration. I have the original 1948 handwritten sales receipt, it cost $207 from the local Sears store with no tires or attachments. My Dad had used tires put on it. He was what some might call, "Thrifty". Mom always said he was just cheap.
BTW, I'm also a "2 N" Glenn.

Thanks for the link! Cool, it seems it worked about as well as I thought it would. I'd still like to have one though just for the novelty.

Cool, it makes me sick to think of all the equipment I had to sell or junk when I closed my repair shop in 07, I had the snow blower, rear tine roto tiller & disc plow for my Bronco which I junked & a really nice Sears Suburban 16 which was missing the deck. I wanted the Suburban for plowing snow but couldn't find a plow locally, that is until I got rid of it and found out a friend has 3 or 4 of them laying around on his property. I really wish I had the snow blower attachment for my WH now it would suit my needs much better then the plow.
I need to do a complete service to my Bronco as I didn't use it last season and I just picked up a few parts to repair the Hydrostat linkage and fix a leaking hose, just not enough time in the day.
