My Secret Santa must have done some digging.

I love fly fishing and these will work great on the smallmouth in the BWCA near my wife's family cabin.

Nice little fly box as well. Will fit right in the pocket.

Thanks so much.

Okay. Just spent about an hour checking the list. If I'm counting and keeping track accurately, 24 of 36 report receiving their gifts (or USPS confirmed delivery). I've heard from 4 participants about delays in sending. That means we need about 8 to check in.

Updates appreciated.

Santa brought me a very nice Sachs freewheel, some coveted (by me) Benotto tape, and some Mother's polish...in a very nice tin box with a subtle but appropriate mod as shown below.

All I can say is that Santa did his research and it's very much appreciated by me! That's *MY* bike in the pic - nice touch!

My Secret Santa must have a suntan because he lives in Tampa, Florida of all places! Must be hot with a polyester beard, hat, red flannel suit, and boots.

Santa, thank you so much for the elegant coffee table book, Italian Racing Bicycles. Can't wait to dive into it with a cappuchino or grappa in my hand, as soon as wipe the bike grease off my hands. It has been a long time since I've owned printed media with a centerfold and it also the perfect gift for a part time Joisey guy!

I've been informed that there's been a delay in delivery from my SS. Not a problem in the least bit! It's always nice to receive something after Christmas as well, that doesn't get lost in the mix of other presents.

No rush!

The package to my recipient was delivered on the 18th but no word so far; no delivery at my end and I'll be out of town all next week. I'm with bibliobob on receiving something after Christmas. I have a friend who sends out New Year's cards and gifts for that sole reason. Happy New Year to all.

So I went downstairs to put my new freewheel away, all the time thinking that I would find a nice frame to use the freewheel on, thinking about gear ratio's and things. I came upstairs and went to put the shipping box in the recycling bin and found this note inside:

We really do all think alike, don't we? Thanks again SS, it will get put to good use!

Saturday Morning Update:

As best I can tell from my record keeping, 6 SS Participants have not responded, or they've posted nothing has arrived yet. This does not include those SS who have contacted me via PM to let me know there was a delay in shipping (I've passed this info along to their assignee). Now with that said, my confession is that keeping track of who has received, what was shipped but is delayed, who has shipped but the assignee has not responded, has been a real challenge for P-Bob this year. Last year I could almost keep track of 18 participants in my head. This year with 36, I keep scrolling through my list and checking it multiple times. I hope I've recorded everything correctly!

This morning I sent a PM to those 6 SS to ask for an update to see how their records jive with mine. I'm now waiting to hear back.

Sunday Night Dec 29th is scheduled to be the big reveal. It's not really fair to wait, so hopefully I'll have more info by then. Last year there was one "delinquent" (who will go unnamed but did not participate this year). We delayed a while but that did not work. So this year I'm not going to delay. Everyone had about 4 weeks to make this happen, and barring delays in the USPS or the RCPS which are out of our control, there should have been enough time.

So wait for it! The 2013 SS List will be published in about 36 hours.

Seasons Greetings to All,

I just returned home after a trip abroad, and opened my Secret Santa present ! To an admitted Italophile, there is nothing better than opening a package and seeing something with the name Campagnolo on it !!

Thanks you Secret Santa for the Campagnolo Seat post ! I will take it out to the shop and polish it up to a mirror shine this week !! Hopefully I can then get a photo posted.

Happy Holidays,

Joe

When the postman came today there was something for me.

A very nice Silica frame pump to match my Olmo. My Secret Santa out did himself. I honestly had not thought of a frame pump but now that I have one and see it on the frame, I love it. My wife was impressed too.

Thank you very much for a very thoughtful, perfect gift.

Hohoho Bikefo!

Just in from a backcountry Holiday adventure, apologies upfront for the delayed posting.

I've been a rather N+1 older boy this year, so it was a pleasant surprise to receive such a useful gift from Youknowho.

A Sachs Huret Duopar ECO wide range rear derailleur! It will yield some useful gearing for this contraption:

Thank you C&V Santa, it will be an honor to employ this one. Your secret remains safe with me ~

Happy Holidays All!
Hope that your Christmas was merry, best wishes for an adventurous New Year.
Shane

Sweet! Thought about getting that same book for my self as a present. Is it well worth it?

Well Dan, here's a quick link to catch up with some trike-minded individuals. Some post informative blogs, some execute masterful modern builds to order and others just prefer the riding:
on3wheels.myfastforum.org

Say hello & dip your toe there. Some due diligence on EBay UK will yield the occasional conversion kit, bear in mind this combo is by no means lightweight.
My Ken Rogers kit is intended as a fitting spare for an '86 Jack Taylor racing model trike project, may fit it to my Falcon frame in the meantime. Randyjawa has one designated as his cottage workbench at the lake.

Well, it has been dark here in NH for over and hour so this qualifies as the night of December 29th. The big wait is over.

Below is my secret assignment list, revealed for the first time any place ever seen on the internet (unless someone hacked my 1999 Lotus Word Pro document files). It brought joy and pleasure to my heart to coordinate and make this happen for you.

May you each have a Happy, Joyous, and C&V New Year!

Thanks Bob for all your coordination efforts! It was a grand experience.

Also, a special thanks to Noglider's wife, Carol, for being the special operative for wrapping the gift and keeping Tom in the dark as to origin. Tom, I picked up on more than one thread some reluctance to perform bb/hub overhauls, so maybe you can make jewelry instead out of all the bearings!

Also, thank you again Shoota for the classy Italian Racing Bicycles book!

Happy New Year everyone!
