Record carbon BB.
I took a chance on this bottom bracket, because it looks nearly like new, but it had a lot of crud & tar, & a noticeable "drag" when you spun the spindle by hand. But I got lucky, & it cleaned up great, just a bit corroded on the aluminum cup, and that'll most likely be fine after a wire brush & grease.
I also grabbed the proper Park tool for the job, that's gotta be better than vice grips, with or without a rag, LOL.
Since I already have the same tool for Shimano, and they're both Park, I'm thinking I'll need bar end plugs or something, to mark them.

In case anyone's wondering, this BB is mounted on the '71 Frejus since last night, is why I put this thread in C&V. It didn't even occur to me, that this particular part doesn't really fit C&V yet.
Since the spindle is only 102mm long, then obviously I'm limited to a double crank. But that's not really a problem, as I already had it in mind to use 50/34 chainrings. The only thing that DIDN'T work out right, is the SunTour cranks I was going to use, don't quite work out. But I put my old Race Face cranks on for now, & that works great, for clearance & everything, plus they're a bit lighter.
