chainset

hi

can someone help me plz
I have an adult trike with 20ins wheels a archer 3 speed and a 38th chainset I cant get a new replacement chainset what other size will work for me plz

Do you need the sprockets or the chain? Are you able to post a picture or link?

chainset=crankset (British-to-American)...I don't know why me4u can't find a replacement crank or chainring but pictures (or further details) might explain what the issue is.

I have a 1940 trike that was made for the uk government not for sale to the public it has a 38th chainset inc pedal arm I cannot find a replacement I can get one with more teeth but don't know if this would work cant post as item is not at my house right now

I cant find a replacement there all have more teeth on them and I don't know if they work I don't have a brand as not marked its original to the trike as I said not made for the public was for government use only the trike was made by George fit company uk

I think this will require some "deep research" since I'm sure this trike is a pretty rare bird.
Meanwhile if you can post a picture (or 3) that will be worth thousands of words.

the chain set arm is 5 5/8 ct to ct on a 38th cog
