Project update
Hi all
Very new to the forum so I thought I'd start with my ongoing resto project
I bought a 1967 Claud Butler Super Electron 5 from E Bay for £27 and set about getting it back into shape.
Spent way too much on it bit it'll look great when done, this is as it was bought..
Frame has now been restored back to original ready for the fun bit

Oops, bluemel, not blemel.....
thx for for the comments. It rides and shifts really well considering its age. Most parts are original, the ones that were too far gone were replaced sympathetically, saddle, gear shift, tyres and bar tape.
Next up is this bad boy

I'm loving that colour! I bought a CB Super Electron frame brand new in 1972 (mine was dark blue flambouyant) - built it up as a tourer and covered thousands of miles on it - the first of many Clauds I've owned, in fact I can't think of too many times when I haven't owned at least one - current tally is six, I sent No.7 to my nephew's girlfriend in Germany a few weeks ago.

Oldpeddellar, I'm jealous of your bike collection. I love my CB, it looks about as good as it ever will so I'm chuffed to bits with it. Rides great as well.
I'll definately pick another CB up before too long, one just isn't enough!!
non-fixie, here's the JOCO story....
I picked up my CB from the frame builder who prepped and arranged for the spray job (Steve Goff) and we got talking about my next project. He showed me a couple of frames a shop in Manchester had asked him to butcher and spray up to turn into fixies (!^**"!), the shop went bump so I now have the JOCO. The other frame was a large English Viking frame which also looked stunning.
I'm currently in touch with a guy in Holland who is trying to identify the frame and date for me.
I'll post piccies when I can, the Nervex lugwork is superb, not sure about the 'Bianchi' colourscheme though!!
This will be a money pit, like the CB. But also like the CB it will be well worth it.
