my new de rosa professional.

i was watching this on ebay, price wasn't to bad, but more thank i could afford. I've been wanting a de rosa for a long time. this on went through the auction with a buy it now price and didn't sell. i contacted the seller with a reasonable offer which he agreed. it came with white wrap, saddle and cables, which i changed over to black. pretty happy finally getting a nice italian bike with nice original paint that i don't have to repaint.

Beautiful bike! I've been longing after a Masi, new or old, since I rediscovered cycling. One day my budget might afford me one.

Very pretty!

Red and Italian, what's not to like? I've heard nothing but rave reviews on this one, so enjoy the ride and the good looks!

Congrats, Sloar, on snagging your desideratum for a reasonable price. Mostly I just see those listed at completely UNreasonable prices!

thats exactly why i snagged this one. I've been searching for a while, and most show up in the $2000 range. and thats if you find one in the correct size. i bought it considerably less than 2 grand. feel like i got a great deal. worked out great, after i made the deal, i put one of my bikes on craigslist and sold it 30 minutes later.

So the white saddle I am getting came from that ? Very nice bike ! Sorry the weather is so rotten for the first rides.

BTW, the Regal will go on another Italian steed, a Bianchi if all works out.

That's an awesome looking bike. Back in the day a red DeRosa was the ultimate for me. I ended up with a couple of American made custom frames, but I would have taken a DeRosa if I had the chance.

I don't know why someone would sell such a nice bike in the middle of Winter. Why not wait until Spring when you would get top dollar, unless you really needed the cash?

Great pick up on a beautiful bike!

Excellent purchase. I have one just like yours. Exceopt bigger. And with Campy 10-speed stuff. But in all the important ways, it's exactly the same, meaning both of ours are red (and everyoine knows red ones are the fastest) and have the cool decal on the right side of the top tube.

Bottom line, you will really like it. I promise.
