I think the color looks great.

The pic is a little grainy, so I can't quite see the detail.

By the time you get the decals installed, windows filled and multiple layers of clear you'll be good to go.

Just stay the course.

I don't see how you can miss with this nice bicycle.

Are you having second thoughts about the color?

I was thinking the Gazelle would look great in this color if you haven't already purchased the jet black.

It's staying orange, I was expecting
a little lighter orange. But I think I will like it.
Pic was with my cell phone. I will get a better one.
and I haven't got the black yet.

You did a really great job cleaning up that frame. It will be a looker when it is finished. Nice work.

Thanks, the frame certainly was a mess. I put about 12 coats of primer on it and sanded off 9. Frame had lots of pits. The internal rear brake cable caps were a pain, first time I've tried anything like that.

thanks everyone, to be honest, i needed some reassurance of the color. at first i was a little upset at the shade. the can showed a much lighter orange. now that i have been looking at it all day, and i just finished painting the panto's on the forks and seatstays, I'm starting to like it. i think once its wetsanded and decals with tons of clear i think it will look just fine.

I had my Brooks (local builder) fixed gear bike painted orange as a "merckx tribute".
