79's Dawes Galaxy

Just finished a full rework of an early 70's Dawes Galaxy. Set it up as an upright ride with comfort in mind. My buddy Sam shot the bright white paint. Hope to take it on a long run soon.

Happy travels !

Some close ups of the frame would be nice. Do you plan on re-decaling it ? I have a long way to go for my 71/72 Dawes Galaxy restore.

"70's" Dawes

Had a case of fat fingers. Title should say 70's Dawes. It is a 73 or 74. At this point, I am not planning on new decals. If you have a source for some reasonably priced ones I could change my mind. Here is the only closeup pic I have at present an it is not real good.

Really nice. It reminds me of the bike the Colonel built for his dad. That puts you in very fine company.

Reminds me of a bike Tony Curtis would ride in The Great Race.
