Cables/housing
Anyone try this stuff?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/151055164040

I was just going to get a Jagwire kit in carbon or something, but ran across this stuff. I know I hate coming across housing where the inner wire coil is rusting, particularly if the outer is translucent. Are most modern cable housings now stainless coil in them? These don't seem too badly priced. Since the housing is only 2500mm, I may need to measure to make sure this would be enough, including a loop for the RD.
Edit: Or if you have something else you like, let me know. SS cables mandatory.

While not a guru on the subject matter, I haven't seen any cable housings advertising stainless, just the cable wires themselves.
8 ft is plenty for brakes. If your running indexed shifters you need sis cable, not this stuff.

The Ebay description states "This kind of Brake cable housing replaces the heavy steel wire wrap of traditional cables with a light, strong and flexible kevlar jacket". That seems to imply there is no steel in the housing at all.
As a side note, I've purchased quite a bit from this seller. Extremely quick to ship items.

Thanks for the thoughts. These would be for friction shifting, but looking at the Ashima website, etc. they are supposedly for index setups. I'll probably go ahead and give these a shot. They seem to be more common in the UK, etc.
