Bridgestone RS 650T

Hi, does anybody know from what year exactly the Bridgestone RS 650T (serial # A728...) is from?

I could not find it in any of the Bridgestone catalogues on Sheldon's webpage. Only similar bike I have seen so far is from EMBACHER/COLLECTION - BRIDGESTONE Rs 650 T. They say it is from 1985. But as mentioned before, non of the available catalogues show this exact model.

If anyone would have the original specs and parts used with this bike, it would be highly appreciated

Many thanks for help!

January 1987 would be my guess if it serial is consistent with Bridgestone MB bikes of same era.

I presume it is designated 650 and has 650b wheels? Also, the T designation would indicate it was meant for touring I suppose, obviously not fully loaded touring. Only one set of bottle mounts is a clue. Probably good for hilly commutes and light touring. I couldn't find anything on it either.

Before I bought new wheels, chain, bar etc. it came along with back and front porters and mud guards.

with the 650 you are probably right and it means the wheel size.
However, with the "RS" in front of and the "T" behind the number I could not really make up any logic. It seems different than T700, T600 or any similar.

Thanks anyhow!
