OK,

I've sent out all the PMs with the details.

If, for any reason, anyone didn't get a PM from me- please let me know and I'll get that forwarded to you.

It looks like we've got 3 donations in so far- I'll have the list and the totals out tomorrow, and I'll reply to everyone. It's bedtime here, and my hand is all sore and swollen from all the typing!

Thank you again to EVERYONE for being a part of this.

Dave

I'd love to build it. Everything would work except the brakes.
Glad to know a Trek guy will have one of the best.

OK, I'm going to be editing this post- this is what I have SO FAR. This isn't everyone who's donated, just who I've matched up PayPal with usernames so far.

There are a few people that the usernames don't match up or I missed in the PM- so if you donated and don't see your username- or the amount is posted wrong- contact me immediately.

Thanks!

Dave!

I have a name that I have a donation for that I can't match up with usernames-

If you donated, but don't see your name in the list- please shoot me a PM with your first name (or the first name on the PP acct).

Thank you!

It looks like we've collected $375 right now.

I'm not even a Trek owner (or Trek lover), but I was almost ready to kick in some bucks just because this is such a great idea.

Hi Everyone-

I just sent the money to JimboMartin. He has the bike packed and ready to go- here are the pix of the pre-packing:

I'll let you know when I hear from Jim and Skip.

Thank you all so much for making this happen!

I mention this only tentatively, but I noticed there were a few people who still wanted to contribute after we had reached the full amount -- another worthy and very useful website for people like us is VeloBase. I have used this site a lot, too, and have donated a few bucks out of gratitude.
