No! An italian classic like that needs full italian job.....campy parts, and for wheels go with Nisi, Ambrosio, FIR, campy....yes GP4's are good wheels but that bike deserves full Italian soul!

What a great deal.... I won't tell you what I paid for mine, but it's as close to NOS as one can get and it came from Belgium via Ebay....Your bike looks like my size, what else does your buddy have for sale?

Haha Yeah I wish he had a list of people that have bikes for us to buy. Unfortunately I don't have any italian wheels in the inventory right now and the ones it came with are steel beasts! Ambrosios would be nice though.

Finished the Gios this past week and was able to take her for a 40 mile ride this past weekend. I need to get some new tires eventually, but other than that it rides great. Turned out pretty nice took a few pics and here is the Garmin ride file. Hope you like the pics.

Those tires while not fresh and pretty will be hard to beat, not top of the line back then but they are aged, with that comes puncture resistance, only downside would be wet weather traction.

Stellar bike.

Excellent! Great find and cool journey in restoring it.

I love how the white regal saddle and white bar tape brighten the overall look. A Hall of Fame acquisition and restoration.

That is a gorgeous bike! Makes me sad for the Gios I crashed a few years back. I'll always have a soft spot for that color and those awesome coins!
