That looks like it has the same seat stays as my Steve Bauer...I'd like to see some more detail. Have you dated it? Does it have a TSX sticker?

The seat stays are mitered to fit to the seat lug & don't have the typical "EM" caps. I need to get more pictures up I guess.

It has the TSX decal but there's no rifling in the seat tube. Next time I have the bottom bracket out I'll check the down tube. Weren't some built with Reynolds tubes?

I guess this is a team colour but I don't know if any team ever used these colours, the team kit would've been pretty wild, I'd bet....

That's why I asked what I asked - mine is Reynolds 753 and I suspect yours is as well. The Motorola team had some 753 frames built specifically for hill stages - though my frame set does not strike me as being especially light. I think they were afraid of going far after the Serotta disaster.
Enlighten me: What was the Serotta disaster?

The 7-Eleven team had bikes built by Serrota and a lot of them failed during the rides. I think there were something like a dozen frame failures during various races the year they used them. They were replaced by Merckx. Serotta has essentially said that the team pushed them into using lighter tubing than they should have used (it might have been true temper).

A lot nice Merckx's here but that Pinarello is really beautiful. I wish I hadn't sold my Pinarello but you can't keep them all right?

Not exactly worthy of this thread yet, but just picked these up yesterday:
1984 54cm Fuji Team:
1986 60cm Fuji Team
I normally ride a 56cm but the 54cm Team feels pretty good, will need a longer stem. So I'll build that one up to ride and then rebuild the 60cm and maybe flip it to fund the other..?
Anyone, I'll post pics once the rebuilds are complete.
